An initiative by Film i Skåne in cooperation with Mitteldeutsche Medienförderung and the German Federal State of Thuringia Within the framework of Cine-Regio. Organised by BUFF:Financing Forum and with support from Swedish Film Institute, MEDIA Desk Denmark and Sweden.

The 2nd Kids-Regio Forum will take place on the opening day of BUFF:FF 2010, March 17th

The conference brings together different players from the filmmaking industry aimed at films for children, primarily focussing on producers and financiers.

The program will include

Lecture on children’s and young peoples use of new media by Michael Gubbins and two work-shop’s:

Workshop I: “Successful co-production: How to make the most of different financing strategies”

Presented by Leontine Petit, Lemming Film, The Netherlands and Meike Martens, Ma.ja.de, Germany. Moderated by Leila Lyytikainen, Estar Studios, Finland.

Workshop II: “Marketing and distribution: Challenging wonders from the front edge of the new media arena”

Presented by Hayley Bringdal, Interactive producer & art director, Australia. Moderated by Lisbeth Mathiesen, Jolly Good Company, Denmark.

Participation fee: 40 euro including lunch, coffee and printed material.
